I think the timing could have been better on the grab of the penguin through the Hawaii poster. It happened too fast, or the cut was too fast, so maybe it was an issue of story timing rather than animation timing. I had to watch it twice. Maybe it could have lingered for about 6 frames or so after the grab with some overlap and 'selling' the speed of the hand puching throuh the poster.
The kitten being tossed in the bin was particularly effective. It couldn't just go straight in... it had to hit the edge...
The design was appealing with limited colour palette and the fine ink brush watery line work (thinking of the gorilla).
By Far the best film I have seen online this year, and it was made by a student! Found on the great Drawn Blog.
