New Stuff

I've added a section to the main list on the side of the ARC Home Page called Character-Games where I can link to animation resources specifically focuses on games animation. In there you will find these new links....

A series of great notes from Jeff Cooperman.
Part2 . Part3 . Part4 . Part5

A great friend of the ARC TJ with some thoughts on animating for games.

A post I made about animating an attack combo for a game. Make sure you check out the comments where some industry pro's drop in with some fantastic advice.

I've also amended some of the categories in the Online Help section. I thought it was a bit Maya and 3D centric, so I changed Maya Character Rigs over to 3D Character Rigs and I added this new link.....

The 11 second club has a great range of character rigs listed on its Forum.

And I changed Maya tutorials over to Software Tutorials where you will find these new links....

The Wonder How To site has free video tutorials for heaps of different software packages.

More free tutorials for more graphics software packages than you can poke a stick at.

Thanks to Frank and Alonso for helping me find some of these links.

Thanks. That's great advice by TJ Phan on animating jumps, leaps and landings in characters for games. His animation has something natural and extra regardless of the game imposed limitations, doesn't it?
